Server/Catering Staff Job DescriptionAs a server, you will be standing for most of the shift. One will be expected to follow a fast pace to keep up with the demand of the kitchen and the event. One will be expected to follow the direction of the Team Leader and follow lists in a timely fashion. Other job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks: Displaying food for appetizer arrangements Coordinating with team leader to efficiently execute an event Full service of meals to guests Proper clearing and handling of plates Speak eloquently to guests Display only proper conversationFinishing platters or garnish for presentation Knowledge of proper coffee and wine serviceProper closing procedure and cleaningAssist in Breaking down eventAssist in proper storage, maintenance, and organization of Banquet itemsAt times may be called upon to do dishes Double check set up and survey physicality of event to make sure everything is up to standard Server Requirements Must come dressed clean and neat-In uniform White Shirt Black Slacks Entirely Black Socks and Shoes Black Apron Hair pulled back from face No dangle jewelry or facial piercings Single stud in ears acceptable No visible tattoos Attire should be fitted not loose Must be punctual Must conduct the job with poise and professionalism Emotionally Strong and professional at all times Think quick and have lists done in advance Have fore site to anticipate next job You must be able to lift at least 40 pounds Have passion for hospitality and food serviceAbility to communicate effectively with the public and other employeesMust have at least one year experience in industryText Messaging UnacceptableSchedule- Wed-Sunday or as needed May-ThanksgivingSend Resume, References, and Cover Letter to Amanda_beckerfarms.com
