About the Event

FAQs about this event:

1. I've never heard of virtual horse racing as a fundraising event, what is this?

a. A 'live' horse race experience is an exciting way to raise money and have fun! There are

10 prerecorded horse races, with 10 horses in each race. The races are prerecorded at

horse tracks around the nation, but where, we don't know. The 10 races are shown for

the first time the night of our event. We’ll allow 12 minutes between each race to get

your bets in, with a 2-minute warning before the betting window closes and the race

begins. Follow your horse(s) from the post parade to the starting gate, down the back

stretch, through the turn, down the stretch to the finish line and on to the Winners Circle!

Enjoy the thrill and excitement of the horse track without being there!

2. How many horses can I bet on with each race? Just one?

a. As many as you'd like! Budgeting for the event? Each bet ticket costs $1, with 10 horses

per race, you could bet on every horse in one race and only spend $10. Want to spend

more? Spread it out among all 10 horses or put all your money down on 1 horse. It's up

to you! A select amount of play money is included in your ticket price with more

available at the event.

3. What’s included in my ticket price?

a. Finger foods, two (2) drink chips (good for wine, signature drinks, draft beer), racing

program, and play money. Payouts (play money) are based on the number of wagers

placed each race and posted at the event. Race winners will be entered into our Grand

Prize Raffles at the end of the evening. A cash bar will be available throughout the

evening, in addition to various 50/50 opportunities. Tickets are limited to 200 attendees.

4. How should I plan to pay for everything? Is this a cash only event?

a. Only play money will be accepted for all horse bets. Becker Farm policies dictate

purchases at the bar.

5. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

a. You must be 21 years to attend the event.

6. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

a. No. Check in at the door with your name and email address.

7. Can I buy tickets at the door?

a. No, ticket purchases must be made in advance. Only 200 tickets are available for this

event. Purchase early and ensure your attendance!

8. What's the refund policy?

a. There are no refunds. Your ticket purchase goes towards the success of the night.

9. I would like to volunteer the night of the event; how can I help?

a. We need volunteers to help make this event a successful night. Keep an eye out for our

volunteer opportunities or email hartlandidc@gmail.com.

10. Can my company or I help sponsor the event?

a. Absolutely! Sponsor opportunities include: Race Sponsors (available on a first-come,

first-serve basis), Grand Prize Donations, etc. Two VIP tickets are included with each
