Embark on an enlightening journey to Becker Farms with your students, clubs, or organizations. Explore the farm's rich history and witness the daily operations of a cherished family-owned working farm. Accompanied by Mindy Vizcarra, the owner, you will tour different aspects of the farm and meet some of our precious farm animals. Don't forget to extend a warm welcome to our furry companions, Gabby and Murphy, who are sure to brighten your day!

Educational Tours

The tour is designed to meet the Science, Math, Social Studies, and Language Arts standards established by New York State. It is appropriate for all ages, from young children in daycare to high school or college students. Depending on the time of year, visitors can also participate in fruit picking as part of the tour.

Meet our furry friends!

Come and meet our adorable furry friends! Most of our animals have been rescued or donated. We have over 35 animals waiting for you to visit them, from a herd of alpacas to Jenny the mini cow or Ham Solo and Piggy Smalls, our pot-belly pigs. You'll find all the gang here

Planting & UPICK

In the summer months, choose strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries; in the Fall, choose apples or pumpkins (may not be available due to growing conditions). The fruit picked will be determined by the date of the visit. All groups have access to a picnic area where students can sit and enjoy a packed lunch! Forgot to pack a lunch? Head into Becker Brewing Co. and grab a bite there!

Pricing

For those interested in private group educational tours, we offer a starting rate of $12 per participant to pick a single crop. Please note that the maximum number of participants for a group is 100, and the minimum reservation cost is $144 for 12 participants. The tour typically takes 90 minutes, and we require a 24-hour notice to book your spot.
